The Executive Council of ISESCO, during its 29th annual session held in Rabat (Morocco) from July 2 to 5, 2008, appointed Mr. Jean-Paul Carteron Ambassador of ISESCO for the Dialogue between Cultures and Civilizations.

Granting this distinction to Mr. Jean-Paul Carteron, Founder of the Crans Montana Forum, the ISESCO meant to reward his efforts and activities for the promotion of the Dialogue between Civilizations in the framework of the Union for the Mediterranean.

For the third year, the Crans Montana Forum organised from June 26 to 29, the symposium on the Dialogue of Civilizations under the Chairmanship of Mr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of ISESCO and Mr. Federico Mayor, Co Chairman of the UN High Level Group for the Alliance of Civilizations and former Director General of UNESCO.

The Crans Montana Forum is entering its 25th year of activities !

 

25 years of activities allowed us to gather in our Forums hundreds of Head of State and Government, thousands of Ministers, tens of thousands of Businesses...

 

Lasting is indeed the best guaranty of credibility and efficiency when we are only supported by the Business sector ! Note that, in 25 years, we never paid one cent for a Speaker ! Here we know that we are unique ! It is a matter of respect for our Participants.

 

Around the World, we are two Organizations of this kind. Among these two Organizations, we obviously are the leader and not so noisy. We do not admit medias in our Forums, we do not look for celebrities or publicity. We look for concrete Business opportunities.

 

We work in depth for Governments and Businesses. As the Chair of one of the most important Companies around the World said : “I am not set to rebuild the World ; I have been appointed to sign contracts and make profit”.

 

Our last April 2010 Forum in Brussels was a huge success. More than 450 (!) African delegates came to meet as many delegates from Europe, Middle East and Asia. We are working for a soft implementation of the South-South Cooperation and we are quite satisfied with the progress achieved.

 

In June 2010, we will have our 21st yearly meeting ! You must be there. That is our most famous and traditional gathering.

 

Before the end of the Summer we will gather in Crans-Montana (Switzerland), the beautiful resort where the Forum was founded. We like to come back every summer to Crans-Montana, one of the most beautiful places in the world.
