Strengthening the GCC - Africa Cooperation

In association with UNIDO and the OPEC Fund, the Crans Montana Forum is organizing an exceptional Forum on the South- South Cooperation which will take place in Bahrain, December 2008. This Forum will obviously be open to the World but Businesses of the Gulf Cooperation Council Region will enjoy a special place in the proceedings as they are now promoting a huge South-South Cooperation towards Africa. At the business level, from the Gulf are expected the Banks, Islamic Banking Institutions, Financial Institutions, Investment (Private and Public) Funds and major Groups and Companies. Thanks to this major Forum, African decision makers will get acquainted with the Arab key actors of the new waves of foreign investment to Africa. Besides the major international groups and companies, this Forum will gather Heads of State and Government, Ministers, Speakers and Members of Parliaments, International and Regional Organisations as well as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the European Union. |

Since a new generation of Leaders has been in charge, Bosnia & Herzegovina has made significant steps towards sound socio-economic development and policy making. From around the World an important number of Companies are rushing to Bosnia & Herzegovina. The aim of the Crans Montana Forum in Sarajevo is to present all opportunities in terms of joint ventures and Foreign Direct Investment.
