The Crans Montana Forum is a Swiss Non-Governmental International Organization whose importance and prestige have been globally well-established since 1986. Its oldest Forums are held each year in Crans-Montana (CH-VS) and Geneva (CH-GE).
It is formally recognized by and work with all major International Organizations, respected Governments, Business and Non-Governmental Organizations.
The Crans Montana Forum works to build a more Humane and Impartial World “Committed to a more Humane and Impartial World” and encourages international cooperation and overall growth. It also works to promote best practices and to ensure a permanent dialogue between all those who handle high-level responsibilities.
The first annual Crans Montana Forum, in 1990, was dedicated to political and economic reconstruction in a Europe then open in the aftermath of the Cold War. In 2016, unfortunately, this dimension will return to the agenda, due to an international situation that has only deteriorated. The yearly Crans Montana Forum meeting is a world-renowned and unavoidable event on the agenda of every decision-maker.
The various Forums organized worldwide (Brussels, Geneva, Rabat, Dakhla, Vienna, Crans-Montana, Bucharest, Baku, Zagreb, Roma, Sarajevo, Tirana, Athens, Malta, Bahrain etc…) represent exceptional opportunities for Businesses and Government Officials to implement their strategies, strengthen relationships with partners and create new ones, and build cooperation opportunities.
The Crans Montana Forum offers tailor-made partnerships and activities to those who would like to take advantage of all the opportunities offered by the wide scope, the variety and the relevance of its events.
A Council on World Public affairs has been established in 2010 to gather Business decision makers on a specific agenda. Members of the Council are welcome to join the Forum's sessions, bring their expertise and share their experience.
The history of the Crans Montana Forum started with the Fondation du Forum Universale
and the Club de Lausanne, which have played an important role since 1985.
It is the late Jean-Pascal Delamuraz, President of the Swiss Confederation,
who guided with friendship and constancy the hand of the two founders :
