A Major Initiative of the Crans Montana Forum : The Club of Atlantic Africa

December 01, 2014

From Tangier to Cape Town, the African global integration comes through its Atlantic dimension.
The Club of Atlantic Africa, a Crans Montana Forum’s initiative, is an exclusive international community, which brings together key decision makers, from Business & Political Circles of the African States bordering the Atlantic. It is an interactive platform open to all Africa’s relevant interlocutors and the rest of the world.
The Club of Atlantic Africa’s Members, aware of the importance of the global integration of their Continent, are directly involved in the social and economic development of their countries and in the necessary regional cooperation of the Atlantic side of Africa.
The Club of Atlantic Africa’s Members, by their direct action and the sharing of their international connections, will provide each other with the means and the best opportunities for development and integration.
The Club of Africa Atlantic will meet each year, for the first time in Morocco and then elsewhere in Africa and abroad.

These meetings will be organized as interactive sessions, fostering discussions and exchanges of information, in order to bring together all stakeholders and raise awareness among potential interlocutors for the Region around the world.

The Club of Atlantic Africa’s Founding Session will be held in Dakhla on March 13, 2015, within the framework of the Crans Montana Forum on Africa and the South-South Cooperation.

The first Plenary Session of the Club of Atlantic Africa will take place in Brussels (Belgium) on June 13, 2015, on the occasion of the 26th annual session of the Crans Montana Forum.
