6 International Personalities awarded on the occasion of the last Forum in Brussels

On the occasion of the Official Closing Ceremony of the 19th Annual Session of the Homeland & Global Security Forum, held in Brussels (Belgium), on Friday October 27, 2017, Mr. Didier Reynders, Dep. Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of Belgium and Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, President of the Pontifical Academy for Life of the Vatican, presented the Prix de la Fondation 2017 to Mrs. Linda Lanzillotta, Vice President of the Senate of Italy and Mrs. Lamia Haji Bachar, young Yazidi activist who managed to escape from ISIS and fights today to raise awareness about her community’s situation and to support women and children who suffer from slavery and barbarism from ISIS.
 
Amb. Jean-Paul Carteron, the Founder of the Crans Montana Forum, underlined the symbolism of this prestigious price, which has awarded, since 1989, the most important modern initiators of Peace, Freedom and Human Dignity.
 
In the framework of this Ceremony, Mr. Albert Pahimi Padacké, Prime Minister of Chad, Mrs. Bouthayna Iraqui-Houssaini, Director General of Locamed in Morocco and Mr. Chawki Tabib, President of the National Anti-Corruption Authority in Tunisia, received the Crans Montana Forum’s Gold Medal, to celebrate their close links with the Forum and reiterate the Forum’s support towards their commitment to build a more Humane World.
  
The Ceremony ended with the nomination of the last Class of 2017 of the New Leaders for Tomorrow.
