Austria Federal Minister Sebastian Kurz commends the work of the Crans Montana Forum in Africa

In a letter to Mr. P-E Quirin, President of the Forum, dated November 30, 2015, the Austrian Federal Minister Sebastian Kurz commends the work of the Crans Montana Forum: « Improving the living conditions of populations and governance represent important elements of the Austrian development cooperation. In line with the forum objectives, Austria is continuously exploring ways of improving the living conditions of populations by enhancing energy, environmental, food and human security as well as working toward better governance in general. I can, therefore, ensure you that we will follow the forum outcome with great interest. To conclude, let me express my respect for the important work of the Crans Montana Forum and for your strong commitment in strengthening of the regional and interregional cooperation in Africa. I strongly believe that ensuring a permanent dialogue and promoting best practices are key for a sustainable economic development in Africa. »
