Amb. Jean-Paul Carteron is proud to be the first Swiss citizen (Bourgeois de Sion) to have been nominated  "Citizen of Crans-Montana" ! A beautiful an impressive ceremony took place in the Congress Center Le Régent, attended by numerous personalities from the Municipality, the County and the Swiss Confederation.

This dignity is materialized by a piece of art, engraved and painted on the wood of a tree cut in Crans-Montana ! This piece of art is exposed in the Forum's headquarters in Monaco, signed by the Mayors – here is the exceptional dimension of the honor ! – of six (!) key Municipalities of the County : Icogne, Mollens, Randogne, Montana, Chermignon and Lens and their flags have been painted around the logo of Crans-Montana.

Such thing never happened in the past.

It creates links and a lot of emotion.

Indeed every year since 26 years, a session of the now World famous Crans Montana Forum takes place in these beautiful mountains, representing a beautiful link between Switzerland and the Principality of Monaco.

We never missed the date !

The last yearly session in Crans-Montana (Switzerland) took place on August 22 to 25, 2013.

The Crans Montana Forum’s Summer session is the most exclusive and inter-active event organized by the Crans Montana Forum in the Swiss-Wallis mountain village of Crans-Montana. The number of Participants, carefully selected, is strictly limited. Key decision-makers from all parts of the world come together in Crans-Montana to discuss current issues and network in the most informal atmosphere. The event’s open character is conducive to a climate of tolerance for all opinions and contributes to overcoming national, ideological and disciplinary boundaries in a harmonious way.
