Haji Allahshükür Hummat Pashazade, in a discussion with Mr. Medvedev, President of the Russian Federation and numerous high level religious dignitaries at the Forum

On the occasion of the forthcoming Crans Montana Forum to take place in Brussels on October 16 to 19, Amb. Jean-Paul Carteron will host H.E. Haji Allahshükür Hummat Pashazade, Sheikh ul-Islam and Grand Mufti of the Caucasus.

The Cucasus Region includes his native Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia, Chechnya, Karachay–Cherkessia, and Adygea in the Russian Federation.

Allahshükür Pashazade also chairs the Religious Council of the Caucasus and is a member of the Board of the World Islamic Congress. He was elected co-chair of CIS Interreligious Council in 2004.
