I was a student at the University of Paris when I met him for the first time : indeed the Minister of Finance Mr. Giscard d'Estaing used to come from to time to deliver a lecture to the thousands of students and professors of the Rue d'Assas.

It was always a success.

Then he became President of the Republic and my admiration always remained growing. I kept being impressed by such an extraordinary person.

Intellectualy, I always felt very close to him .

I am happy to have kept this picture. We exchange before an important meeting. I had a lot of pictures from this period but the time passing, they disappeared…
