The Chairman of the Board of Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Prof. Bedri Peci attended the last Crans Montana Forum on Homeland & Global Security held in Geneva from 15 to 17 October, 2014.

This forum is a multi-dimensional prestigious platform for financial institutions, governments, parliaments, public administration and international organizations.

During this event, the Crans Montana Forum awarded the Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Prof. Bedri Peci with the Gold Medal. The Medal was presented by Mr. Philippe Douste-Blazy Under Secretary General of United Nations and Special Envoy of Mr. BAN ki-moon.

As Jean-Paul Carteron, the Forum's Chairman stated : "I have been for years a old friend to President Ibrahim Rugova when he was fighting for Kosovo Independence. Today I know the difficulties you are facing and we decided to award you as you represent integrity and respectability. We wish to work with you for a better future in your country".
