On the occasion of its 27th Annual Session, held in Vienna in June 2016, the Crans Montana Forum organised, in association with the African Women's Forum, a Special Programme addressing the role of Women in the National decision process and the promotion of Gender Equality in both Private and Public sectors.
Girls Education, Gender Equality to reach a better balanced society as well as the presence and the role of Women in Politics were at the center of the debates.
Mrs. Aicha Bah Diallo, Chairperson of Forum for African Women Educationalists and Mrs. Bouthayna Iraqui-Houssaini, General Director of Locamed, co-chaired this High-Level meeting.
