Solomon Islands boosted by International Sea Port

The SBD$190 million International Sea Port Project was officialy formalized on the occasion of a Ceremony at the Solomon Islands Ports Authority.
Thanks to the Japanese support, the International Sea Port will ease the congestion of calling ships, improve the strength of trade in the country, expand container yard, increase the stacking capacity of containers and enable them to handle volume efficiently.
Honiara Port was recently awarded with the Club of Ports' Label for Excellence : MOST DYNAMIC PORT IN THE PACIFIC AREA. An Official Ceremony took place in Geneva with the exceptional participation of Minister Manetoali.
This country is now about to become a new maritime hub of the Pacific region !
