Special Programme

In the framework of the Crans Montana Forum on Africa & South-South Cooperation, which will be held in Dakhla (Morocco) from March 18 to 21, 2020, a special Programme will be dedicated to putting human beings at the heart of modern social dynamics and development policies.

Among the key topics :

  • Sustainable human security : fostering a widespread sense of security and thus contributing to individual and collective development
  • Education for All : expanding girls' and boys' education by promoting access to the technical tools of communication and social interconnections
  • Public health : ensuring access to quality care is key to the security perception for the individuals and their social, family and personal well-being
  • Quality of life : a genuine commitment to environmental protection is mandatory to boost community and national development
  • Social responsibility of individuals : promoting the culture of essential values, including respect for oneself and the others, by investing in education through sport and its "social cohesion" dimension

On this occasion a special focus will be dedicated to the economic and social development model of the Southern Provinces of Morocco.

  • Economic and social inclusion : allowing every component of the society to be engaged, valued and respected for their contribution to the sustainable development of their community
  • Responsibility and progress : building tomorrow's society based on human capital and new generations’ determination
  • Private initiatives : increasing private economic investments by promoting a structuring, sustainable and innovative development framework
