The Moroccan Royal Institute for Strategic Studies - IRES celebrates its 10th anniversary

September 04, 2017

Strategic Partner of the Crans Montana Forum for many years, the Moroccan Royal Institute for Strategic Studies is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
Established in November 2007, the Royal Think Tank’s vocation is to contribute to decision making on strategic issues by developing anticipation-based expertise and analyzing globalization and its impact on the Kingdom of Morocco.
Headed by its Director General, Mr. Mohammed Tawfik Mouline, IRES has become a reference amongst African Think Tanks, producing more than 100 reports, organizing major international conferences on climate change and cities of the future, as well as more than 175 seminars. IRES has mobilized almost 200 associate researchers and about 60 PhD students, in addition to its own internal resources.
Sharing common values and a quest to understand the changes at global, regional and national level, the Crans Montana Forum wishes to continue developing a privileged cooperation with IRES, working on evermore ambitious projects in the years to come.
To celebrate this anniversary and reflect on a decade’s work, the Moroccan Royal Institute for Strategic Studies produced a video retracing its evolution and highlighting its main achievements since 2007.
