Salome Zurabishvili, recipient of the PRIX DE LA FONDATION, elected President of Georgia

Salome Zurabishvili, former French Ambassador to Tbilisi and
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, was elected on November 28 as President
of Georgia.
The new Georgian President participated twice to the Crans Montana
Forum, in 2005 and 2006 in Monaco.
On the occasion of the Official Award Ceremony of the 17th Annual
Session of the Crans Montana Forum (2006), Salome Zurabishvili received the
PRIX DE LA FONDATION from H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, on behalf of Amb.
Jean-Paul Carteron, Founding President of the Forum.
Salome Zurabishvili
has pledged during her term in office to bring her country closer to the
European Union.
