CLUB OF PORTS' meeting in Geneva, focus on the prospects opened by the SILK ROAD

Chaired by Mr. Abbas Ali Al Naqi, Secretary General of the Organisation of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries, the Session of the Club of Ports was devoted to the prospects opened by the Silk Road with a focus on Trieste and Genoa, the new European maritime terminals of the Silk Road, and the importance of transshipment to China and the East. This Session also explored the new opportunities and challenges raised by Chinese investments in the Balkans’ transport infrastructure.
